2026 Geothermal Discovery Day

In addition, I, the undersigned parent or legal guardian, on behalf of myself and the participating child(ren), agree to the following: 1) Assumption of Risk: I understand that participation in this event may involve certain inherent risks, including but not limited to minor injuries, slips, trips, falls, or other unforeseen incidents. I voluntarily assume full responsibility for these risks. 2) Release and Waiver: I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless Geothermal Rising, Children's Museum Houston, their officers, staff, volunteers, and partners from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of participation in this event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law. 3) Medical Authorization: In the event of a medical emergency involving my child(ren), I authorize event staff to obtain necessary medical care and treatment. I accept full financial responsibility for any medical services rendered. 4) Photo/Video Permission: Staff will frequently take photos or videos during this event that may include me or my child(ren) for promotional or educational purposes by Geothermal Rising. Photos and Videos will NOT contain the names of any family participants. If you do NOT want your family included in photos/videos, please contact a member of the Geothermal Rising team at registration@geothermal.org. 5) Acknowledgment: I have read this waiver, fully understand its terms, and sign it voluntarily.
